We shared: the hot Asiago and artichoke appetizer--plentiful, rich and flavourful, the Caesar salad--fresh but ordinary, and a wood-fired meat lovers pizza--one of the best we've ever had. Dropped in for a quick bite while walking the main street late afternoon. Food was excellent and the staff very pleasant and professional. was fairly empty which I hope was simply because of the time of day and time of year. Even so, it was still comfortable.
During our first night in Niagara-on-the-Lake, we had dinner at Bistro Six-One. The food was outstanding. Of the four entrees ordered, I tasted three of them: the maple salmon, the lobster raviolis and the steak. All were cooked to perfection and the service was excellent.
