My husband and I went to Jan's for lunch. We were only one of two tables and yet the service was slow. We had to ask twice for a glass of water. The food was average. The patio was great with a view of the beach.
Wow...this place was obviously the best kept secret around...Lived here since 2007 and had never been to Jan's before... This place met all my expectations as a great place for breakfast! The service and the owner went above and beyond in making us feel welcome. Will be back to try their dinner menu soon!
We had a fabulous dinner at Jan's before going to a show at the Blue Frog. There were 4 of us, we all had something different and every dish was knockout great! We shared the spicy thai curry mussel and beet salad as an appie. They were both delicious and it was more than enough for the 4 four us.... 更多
The Scallops are one of the best I have had. Never felt rushed or in need or service. The staff is great and view is something to be seen. Jan treats you like family. I will be back
Went there for brunch today. Beautiful outdoor patio on the waterfront. Great breakfast omelettes and beni's. Pricing was moderate and the view is worth it and the food was very good. Quite busy. Took us 45 min to be seated but just enough time for a walk on the pier. Worth the trip.

We were a group of 9 including 3 young children going for dinner. One adult and two of the children required gluten free choices. This restaurant rocks! The menu is amazing....so many choices...all reasonably priced. The service was great with our waitress anticipating our every need. The decor is comfortable with some seating outside under heat lamps. The portions are... 更多
Planned brunch elsewhere and when that didn't pan out we did a last minute search and ended up in this cozy, open-kitchen spot. We were welcomed by the cook who was happy to answer my questions (yes, everything is made scratch) and promptly brought waters and menus. We ordered mimosas (2/$10 today) and were pleasantly surprised at the "kick" to... 更多
We visited this fairly simple restaurant on the esplanade for lunch one Saturday. They make a point of advertising most (all?)of their food is gluten free, including the batter for their fish and chips. I tried it and found it pretty good. I don't have any issues with gluten myself and usually avoid gluten free food as the taste and... 更多
