Located on Broadway, a busy street close to kitsilano, this place offers nice and elaborate food, but small portions and not cheap prices.
I met a dear friend here recently and was surprised to learn it has been here for 12 years. I walked in and felt calm: it has a lovely South East Asian atmosphere. The service was good with great explanation of the menu. Their chai tea was so delicious; I was given a small cup first to sample then a... 更多
One of those hidden jewels. The food was superb, we had 2 of the potato bowls and they were prepared and served exquisitely. From the cooking aromas that emanate from the kitchen to the ambiance, to the eclectic decor, this little restaurant excels. Not to mention the attentive and quick service. Strongly recommended.
My husband and I went to Dharma Kitchen yesterday for dinner and we had such a great time there. The inside decor is relaxing and colorful. The staff was very smiling and welcoming. On the menu there was a great choice of vegan specialties: mainly tofu or tempeh. My husband chose the miso soup first. It was super tasty: lots... 更多
I love the Dharma Kitchen! I'm vegetarian, not vegan (which this is), but I've taken meat-eating friends there, and work colleagues, and they've all been impressed and delighted. I've tried several different dishes and enjoyed them all, and the smoothies are to die for. The service has always been friendly and prompt, the ambience is peaceful and quiet, and it's... 更多
Very impressed! Tasty, unique sauces make this vegan restaurant special. Enjoyed our dinner very much, and we are not vegan or vegetarian - just healthy eaters.
I like the peaceful, quiet ambience of this restaurant. It's small and uncrowded. Service is friendly and my food arrived in a timely manner. I recommend The Little Buddha and the Spicy Tempeh. the freshly made juices are delicious. The prices are very reasonable and the portions are ample. Lots of free parking in the back or on the street.
We looked for a light healthy lunch in this neighbourhood and came across Dharma. We ate the Little Buddha meal (spinach, broccoli and homemade tofu) and the Rice Bowl with spicy Tempe Tofu. We also the homemade Chai Tea. All very delicious to a very good price.
My husband and I happened to be walking by so stopped in. I stress that neither of us are vegetarian let along vegan. I have read the reviews on the rude staff and disagree. He (assume it was Tommy) was polite and pleasant. There wasn't a lot of the usual server chitchat like 'how are the first few bites'. Both... 更多
Attended the restaurant with a friend earlier this month. The owner/waiter came over, and when questions were asked about the menu, he got very huffy and dismissive. The food was ok, but nothing to write home about. It tasted frozen, like something you might pick up at Trader Joe's. However, the peanut sauce was very good. Seriously Tommy, practice what... 更多
