Popular place for Dim-Sum and dining. Free parking and good service. Both Dim-Sum and cuisines are well prepared using fresh and quality ingredients. A good pick for authentic Cantonese cuisine.
The Red Star Seafood Restaurant can be found on the former White Spot Restaurant site. Our latest visit was not favorable. Most Chinese restaurants in metro Vancouver no longer charge for Chinese, Red Star charges $1.50 PP and Tai Tung Chinese Seafood at 8012 Granville Street charges 95 cents PP. Interesting to note that both restaurants are in Marpole. Of... 更多
I've been to this restaurant with friends many times over the years and it's been consistently good each time. They have a great selection of food. A must have each time (even for lunch!) is their house specialty - roasted duck. Whether you're there to impress out of town guests or just enjoying a nice meal with family and friends,... 更多
Our friends, economic refugees from Hong Kong 1997, insisted that Richmond had much superior Chinese restaurants than the traditional Chinatown and they were correct. Red Star in modern complex in Richmond right adjacent the largest Chinese mall in North America. It's decor modern Chinese, spacious with high ceilings and whilst nearly 100% capacity it was not noisy. Predominantly Cantonese cuisine... 更多
This one along with Dynasty on Broadway are the two best Chinese restaurants. The dim sum is nicely done and cooked to your order so to guarantee the food is hot when serve to your table. The dinner menu is excellent and the service is impeccable. A rarity among the Chinese restaurants everywhere.
We took our father for a traditional Chinese dinner. We ordered our favorites. Peking Duck, Whole steamed fish, and Crispy crab - it was amazing brought our whole family memories of great family dinners
They have the best quality food, both dim sum and evening meal. It is very popular so it is best to reserve. The restaurant is large and well decorated. The service is excellent. You do pay a little more for dim sum than a lot of smaller places.
I wasn't at this particular restaurant; I was at the sister restaurant in Richmond. This is supposed to be just as good as the Richmond restaurant.
I really loved the dim sum here. Line up wasn't too long on a weekend, the staff was very nice and spoke English! The atmosphere and decor was really classy and clean and most importantly the food tasted really good! They had the classic dim sum dishes along with a great variety of creative yet authentic Chinese dishes. I have... 更多

We called in late but they gave us a table for the 8 of us in a private room. The restaurant was booked to capacity but they made provisions for... 更多
