I have been here several times and has never disappointed. Nice outdoor seating area, friendly waitstaff and nice beer specials. Great pizzas and great salads. All ingredients taste fresh and delicious. When I visit Banff again, I will definitely eat here again.
Just off the main drag in Banff, we were really glad we visited this tavern. The meals were delicious and the beer was very good. Patrons included families with small children. MO hesitation recommending this restaurant.
A great place to drop in for a pizza or drink. We wandered in one lunchtime and sat at the bar for a pizza and a beer. The girl behind the bar was super friendly and helpful and the spinach and artichoke dip is delish!
What a great place! My husband and I were here for lunch on April 23, 2015. We enjoyed it so much, we went back a few days later. Pros: It's got a real local vibe, great service, & friendly, helpful servers. Our waitress gave us advice on other great places to eat in town, based on our preferences. The pizzas... 更多
We enjoyed Bear Street Tavern's gluten free and regular crust pizzas. The gluten free crust was okay, too doughy and a bit undercooked. But g-free crusts are hard to do right. The topping of roasted vegetables (Mediterranean) was excellent. My daughter liked her regular pizza (The Bison). The delivery came in good time.
The irony about my rating and title, is that at the end of the day - there's better food in Banff. But when you add it all up, this is really going to be one of the better experiences. Why? Don't get me wrong, the food is good. So is the beer. The staff have always been very nice. The... 更多
First night in town; went to the Bear St tavern. Pizzas were highlighted on both tripadvisor and the menu. They weren't all that special - undercooked, doughy and the toppings not enough. Go for the ribs - much better. And the beer. Lots of it.
My husband, 2 children (ages 8 and 6) and myself went to this restaurant last week for supper. The menu was limited, pizzas for entrees, several appetizers, salad and soup. I had the margarita pizza, my husband got the big bird pizza and my kids got kids pizzas (one cheese, one pepperoni). The crust was nice and thin and crisp.... 更多
Best meal I had on my last business trip. Waitress was very friendly and knowledgeable, answered all of my questions about the menu. Soup of the day was hearty and delicious. My coworkers fajitas kept him smiling all afternoon. Well worth stopping in. Would love to go back the pizza at the next table looked awesome.
This Restaurant has appeared on Food Network Canada's You Gotta Eat Here, and they deserved it. Dropped in for a quick lunch, and the Mac & Cheese was outstanding. Served in a cast iron skillet, the dish has roasted cauliflower and pork belly, stirred into a sharp cheesy sauce. The restaurant has multiple TVs with sports, but the atmosphere is... 更多
