We visited based on the reviews of SMA rooftops that we found elsewhere. La Azotea was disappointing. It was hot, as it is partially enclosed. There was too much smoke. The food and service were mediocre at best.

I went here on a food tour. I mean to come back. It is pretty; it looks great. None of that matters. Come and have the jicama tacos. End of review. Trust me.
This has been one of our favorite spots for the last three years but service has suffered on return of owner I'm sad to say. Locals all know the story and we've continued to support for that very reason. Tonight he's back and things changed. Quiet Sunday night it is usually the best pace to visit for drinks and great... 更多
Perfect top of the city views near the Jardin for a before dinner or late night drink and bite. The jicama tacos are yummy. Tuesday 2 x 1 Mojitos and Margaritas. Fun, friendly atmosphere.
We dined at Azotea because after the first night we had dinner there was just so incredible we had to return for a second night . Everyone has posted the "Jicama Tacos and the Spring Roll " were divine .

I've eaten here twice since we've been in SMA and we'll be here for four months (Jun 1 to Sep 30). It's very close to the jardin. It IS hard to find but go to the address, enter, and turn R at the veggies you will see on the right. If you go straight, you enter another restaurant. It's a... 更多
So every city has a favorite rooftop bar/restaurant ... Bangkok, Roma, Lisboa, Istanbul, and of course, San Miguel de Allende, even though it's more of a town than a city. While I generally try to avoid "tourist traps", I love rooftop eating/drinking. It's exhilarating ... and yes, I succumb to the fact that I am also a tourist, no holier... 更多
La Azotea is above Pueblo Viejo so the entrance is a bit confusing. You enter Pueblo Viejo, turn to the right and go up the stairs. Breathtaking views... Don't miss La Azotea at sunset or any other time for that matter. This becomes a happening place where you can enjoy the cool afternoon breezes and the stunning sunsets in San... 更多
