Nice cuban bar with live salsa every night and friendly staff. Good just for a drink as well as for a dancing night!
We enjoyed some shrimp dishes with garlic and coconut sauce. Though it was quite expensive, I can only recommend this location for those, who like the Caribbean taste and Mojitos . Furthermore, the service was brilliant. Our waiter was very attentive, we never had to wait more than 10 seconds for any request. However, the bill was higher than expected,... 更多
So PCD is not really full of Mexican culture. There is a lot of live music, but most of it is covers of pop songs, rock and roll, jazz, not traditional Mexican music. Great Cuban food, with nice ripe plantains, and rice and beans. The drinks are top notch and the service very helpful. Try the shrimp and the fish. Get a side of rice and beans and please, stick to those mojitos.
I have been at this restaurant at least 4 times with various friends, at every time I have been there the service is so friendly and fast, the food tasty, and the best is that the band is amazing, you will see people dancing in between tables all the time, the ambience is one of the best in town. Staff very spontaneous, and friendly. We felt the Cuban warmth, and flavor. It's sad we didn't have time for a whole dinner, but had drinks, appetizers, danced in the main salon, and had photos with the staff. A place to visit when in Playa del Carmen. Hemingway would have loved it.
