Great building!!! Fast and neat service the food is good and the feeling of a great atmosphere along this building make a great experince to remember everlasting... My case...
Enormous, with azulejos (tiles), as expected. The tiles reminded me of Dutch Delf tiles. The restaurant is enormous. We didn't eat there but you can freely roam the 3 or so floors. Since is well located, it deserves a visit.
I joined my long-time lost friend Norberto who came all the way from Pachuca to meet there then visit the historic centre of Mexico City together. My first impression was a big "Waoow"! You start looking at every corner of this restaurant believing that you were in a museum and ending up forgetting that they serve food as well!! I... 更多
It is right across from the church, and about a block from the Palace of Fine Arts. Sanborns is a Mexican chain and there are 100's of Sanborns locations all over Mexico City (and Mexico). However, this location is very special: it is the original location of the chain, and it is located in a 16th century palace which was... 更多
Classic Mexico City. The magnificent courtyard is a must see for anyone who appreciates historic architecture and design. The food is fine and the ambiance is lively if a bit crowded.
Sanborns is a large mexican chain with locations all over Mexico, and particularly in Mexico City, it's almost like Starbucks is in NY: one very two blocks or so. This particular location is in an old colonial home that is covered with Talavera tiles on the outside. The food is not bad, but mostly it's for the experience of dining... 更多
The restaurant architecture and wall paintings should be the thing you want to really pay attention to when eating here, there's always a line so get there in time. Staff is kind but some of the waitress just forget about you and dissapear for a long time, food and drinks are okay, I recommend this place for the looks not... 更多
The building is beautiful! It is very recommended to visit this place! Service is not so good! It is always very crowded And you have to wait a long time until you get a table, food or your check. I would recommend to visit the place but not really having a complete meal over there maybe a coffee or drink.
This is the kind of restaurant that is more about the building and environment than the food itself... Went with friends near closing time, the service was relatively slow but friendly, and the food un memorable. With a similar style, the food and environment is definitely much better at Cafe Tacuba.
