Definitely the place to go if you're hungry for Indian food in La Condesa. Not great, not bad, but very satisfying. The nan bread is not the best, but the samosas were delicious and the lamb masala hit the spot.
After several weeks of arranging my schedule I had the pleasure of lunch at The Taj Mahal. I had checked TripAdvisor before and gotten useful information. I will not repeat that but add to it. First the people are charming and the meal totally enjoyable. I would have classified the cuisine offered as Moghul Indian, meaning that the selection is... 更多
I visited this place along with my colleagues as it said it has authentic indian food. However it did not turn out to be a meal we expected. Pros: Fritters / starters, Indian beverages, Ambience, Value for money Cons: Food seemed to have a sweet gravy which is very unlike indian food, takes time for delivery
Sometimes finding a place that stays true to real indian flavors is hard to find, no place gets it like the Taj Mahal restaurant. The flavors and variety of food is amazing and the atmosphere, with constant bollywood music playing on the background and glimpses of Amitabh Bachchan or Kajol on the screens makes for a unique indian experience in... 更多
We've been going there for the last 5 years. Every time we've eaten a delicious traditional indian food. We'd strongly recommend you to give it a try.
We ordered food for delivery for a nice evening at home in connection to a celebration. However, despite confirming the order, the food just never arrived. Horrible and shameful for a place that attempts to keep a reputation.
I really like the taste of the food in this place. I used to go every week since I was working nearby. But I must say that the prices are a little bit high for the type of place. Is not a fancy place and can be a little cleaner in my opinion. It is a little bit messy inside,... 更多
We had been to this hotel expecting good not even amazing Indian food. But were highly disappointed with the kind of food served. We had ordered veg samosa, papad and onion baji...but we got non-veg samosa and these were pretty cold. Looked like they had prepared long back. No taste.. no where near to indian food taste. The main course... 更多
I think this place had to struggle a lot to deal with Mexican people. The dishes taste Indian, but something is missing, like a punch... I am pretty sure that the owners tried to adapt to the local flavors and tastes to please the patrons. Maybe for Mexico City is a good place, but if you have the opportunity to... 更多
