The dishes were so special that we don't find them everywhere. Love all the dishes. The moles were a good try. Service was good with non stop refilling of bread.
We went for lunch following visit to Frida Kahlo museum and we wowed by the helpful English speaking server, Alexis, and the interesting delicious tastes of the dishes he recommended. This pretty spot is right off the main plaza. Service was excellent and the traditional food was delicious. My husband said the cream of black bean soup was one of the best he's ever tasted. There are options for children off menu, just ask.
I always have dinner with friends and family at this restaurant while visiting Coyoacan. The athmosphere is family oriented and cozy. MY FAVORITE!! Just EXCELLENT!!Superb dishes that are very well presented and the coconut margaritas are my favorite!! A very nice atmosphere with a view of a beautiful park!! I'll defiantly come here again since it's a 15 minute walk from the Frida Kahlo museum which is worth visiting again.

This place was recommended by our private tour guide. It was amazing!! The black bean soup was outstanding and velvety smooth and the filet with black mole was exquisite. Ask for the server Alexis, he truly made the meal special.
