I didn't enjoy my meal here. I ordered garlic shrimp and the whole plate of food was served cold. Cold shrimp, rice and broccolli. The shrimp were obviously frozen. I just left it, total waste of money.
We were very happy with the food compared to a highly rated restaurant we dined at the night before. The fish dishes we tried were large and tasty. The flan for dessert was delicious. Travellers should look beyond the tourist traps. Another thing we liked was the generous amount of vegetables served along side the protein. Just off Insurgentes near... 更多
GREAT FOOD. My friend took the Cheese Stuffed Shrimp Wrapped in Bacon +/- 185 pesos (US$ 9.50) and I had the Coq au Vin 160 pesos (US$ 8.50). Both of us were blown away by the quality of the food. La Ronda was right across the street from the boutique hotel where we stayed. The hotel manager referred us and we fell in love with the fresh local Mexican food. I had the shrimp with pistachio sauce and side of beans and corn tortilla...delicioso!
Four of five of we who visited la Ronda recently are vegetarians and I must say their vegetarian offerings are very limited. On the other hand what they do offer is delicious and the chefs, waiters and owners are all the same people and are enthusiastically accomodating.
Off the beaten path and a favorite of the ex-pat community, LA Ronda isn't on the radar for most tourists. It should be. This place has all of six tables, one waiter and a fantastic cook. They offer nightly specials, a full menu of national dishes and the best flan we've had this trip. If you're looking for good food,... 更多
Can't say enough about the food and the friendly atmosphere. A definite repeat visit on my next vacation. This was my favorite meal of the week!
Small family run restaurant serving up inexpensive but delicious food. It's not trendy or a "date night" place but you won't be sorry that you ate here.
