Terrible music, drinks and the food wasn't even ment for human beings. Expensive food and you could not even get a beer!!!!!! Keep away if you care about your own health and money.
We were hiking from Saline Bay to Salt Whistle Bay on a sunny day. The road is steep but paved, and a rest stop was welcome. We didn't take time to sample the food, but the beer was cold and the smile was warm.
We went here for dinner but the waiter was too impaired to get our order straight or actually to get our order at all. Eventually we had some pretty good but very greasy conch fritters. It was uncomfortably warm inside and the wait time was absurd even by Mayreau's laid back standard.
It's at the top of the hill. You may not want to climb that far up the hill but if you do, it is always a party atmosphere. Don't expect anything more than a typical Caribbean beach bar and you will be happy. The drink prices are good. The restroom (1) is shabby and barely serviceable. The people we met... 更多
Pulled into Mayreau in a little Windjammer Cruise. We stopped into Robert's bar and it was like stepping back in time to the 1970s. Old school Caribbean. The interior was what you would expect for the era. We were on a island fall into the bar crawl and just had drinks. Robert was very pleasant and he started playing his... 更多
This is a 5 min walk up the hill from Salt Whistle Bay, a great destination in itself and a lunch stop on our sail from Tobago Cays Marine Park to Canouan. Just passed and across the street from the view from the Catholic Church is Robert's Righteous Restaurant & Bar. You can't miss it, its a 4-5 room structure... 更多
Everyone knows Robert Righteous on the island. Our crew of 6 needed to get off the boat for a little walk and coffee and everyone directed us to Robert Righteous. His place is pretty hard to miss. From Salt Whistle Bay walk up the only paved road up the steep hill (sandals are fine) and keep going straight (you will... 更多
This place should be 'staple' for any visit to the Carribean - genuinely the most warm, welcoming and friendly place. Robert will willingly share his life, love and experience of the Caribbean with you in his restaurant which is more of a bold artistic outpouring from the guys soul - you can see 21 years of life, community and searching... 更多
You must go there when you are there. We had a fresh lobster taken from the sea just few minutes after our order and while we were waiting we had a great talk with Robert - the owner of restaurant. He will tell you all about the island, local people, their culture etc. It's a very nice and inspirative talk... 更多
