This restaurant is well known amongst the locals and tourists. It is right in the middle of the town with good food and a great upper deck that is covered by a tree where iguanas rest at night.
Oscar is WONDERFUL! Food was good, setting is relaxing, and Oscar (bartender/waiter) was perfect. Excellent way to spend our first evening on Vieques.
We meet the owner on the plane ride over form Ceiba and promised we would try her food. We sat at a table on top by the road. The service was good but the time it took to get food was a little slow. The wait was ok because we spent the time checking out the iguanas sitting in the... 更多
This is the first place we ate, after having been told we needed to go for breakfast. Note, the do NOT serve breakfast anymore! Lunch menu wasn't as interesting as we were hoping, mostly over-priced "American" food like hamburgers and fries. Food was decent, and LOVED the home-made salsa, but overall not worth going back for. Also, beware that they... 更多
Food was very good highlighted by the seafood stew. It was awesome. Drinks were good and the bartender hand sweezed limes for my wife (with a smile on her face). Don't miss the key lime pie.It is excellent.
Our family had a dinner and a lunch here. Good spot for a laid back meal. The seafood stew is a must have! Drink specials, and other food is good.
The burgers were really good as was the seafood stew. It was nice to sit outside with cool breezes. The prices were fair and our waitress did a good job. Very casual.
We got a recommendation to try this spot and were disappointed. The coconut shrimp were fine but I've never had them served badly anywhere. The frozen key lime pie was ok but not to rave about. If you want comfort/diner food like stateside it is your spot. No local fish, service only so-so.
We went for an early dinner on a Saturday night. They were accommodating for our kids, friendly to our group of 6, and relatively prompt with the food (it's island time which is fine). We could see the ferry leave and arrive. Food was good, but the root beer float could;ve used more root beer soda.
We had a late lunch at Mamasongas one day. The upstairs location is nice and it gives a great view of the water. There is shade from a nearby tree and also umbrellas. The menu is pretty basic with a few salads, burgers, chicken and shrimp. However they also had a seafood stew/chowder for $12.95 that was one of the... 更多
Finally the restaurant is upstairs and not right on the street. The food is good here. I just wish that they would serve something other than mashed potatoes and a chunk of corn on the cob for vegetables. It's a nice setting and good service and nice people.
We were recommended to go there for the view and the burgers! Well - we weren't disappointed. The view was a little obstructed, and finding parking was horrible. However, once we got there, the welcoming atmosphere from the manager and the staff more than made up for trying to get parking for 15 minutes! the drinks also were extremely good.... 更多
