Great service, Rack of lamb was perfect. Not on the menu but when I asked for a cheese board for desert it was prepare and a lovely sherry was recommended. Gary was the very accommodating server.
Being a captive audience, you really don't have any other choice for a good dining spot. The atmosphere was fine, the food was very good, the service was fine (except for the hostess) but the prices are high. That's the "gotcha" factor, there is no competition for a days drive. Enjoy the experience and forget the cost, it's a classic... 更多
What a pleasant surprise: a really excellent restaurant with a great menu, excellent service and brilliant cooking / tasting. We had nice and fresh salads as starters, lamb and steak as mains, which were made really nice and a desert, which was a bit too rich, but we shared it.
The dining room was very nice. Food was interesting and reasonably priced. I would recommend to all including families.
We were very disappointed in their food. It was worse than the worst diner I have ever been in. They need to hire a cook that can cook. The service was good. The air conditioning was absolutely freezing but that was to keep the cook cool, not the guests. They did turn the fans off and it got more comfortable.
This is the place to go for white linen tablecloths, well set tables and an amazing view of Death Valley. Tip: ask for a table near the windows or sit outside. Why spend $16 for a "hamburger?" Well...it's probably one of the best hamburgers I've ever had! (The Angus burger) Delicious! A blend of 2 cuts of beef, HUGE, on... 更多
We chose lunch here on our way into the park from Pahrump. We chose to share a wrap (not exceptional - presentation nice - and get an additional side. My husband had an iced tea. The total was only $25 - for which elsewhere we would have gotten 2 hot dogs and a beverage. Cloth on the tables and cloth... 更多
Elegant dining room with a sunset view of the mountains. I was very happy with my trout dinner, and the bread basket featuring different types of butter - including date butter - was a pleasant surprise. My companion seemed less pleased with his prime rib that had a pretty big piece of fat on it - though the overall portion... 更多
Sunday brunch at the Furnace Creek Inn is one of the best meals I've ever enjoyed. With selections from fresh fruit (mountains of raspberries) to made-to-order egg dishes and omelettes, there is something here for everyone. Considering all of this delicious food is brought in from miles away, everything was amazingly fresh. A refreshing pause in a weekend of hiking... 更多
We had concerns about returning to the Furnace Creek Dining after many years. Some of the reviews were not good. We were pleasantly surprised that all was still well at the Inn. We think some don't realize that food is not going to be inexpensive in a First Class Resort in a remote location. However, we found the food prices... 更多
