I think this is probably the friendliest place I have ever been. Food excellent and served quickly. Wow!
The most important thing to say about Ye Old Steppes is this…. do NOT; under any circumstance, pass this gem of a place by without stopping…. seriously…. it IS that good. It's a quirky, little place with a lot of steep steps up to the front door, so bear this in mind if you have any mobility issues (fyi, my... 更多
Hubby and I were driving to Leominster and spotted this place as we drove by, our visit to Leominster was unsuccessful so I rang and asked how busy they were. A lovely girl called Chloe was like I will save you a table. Already I was impressed since I hadnt asked for a table and I didn't know how long... 更多
A very good find. Wished we were locals so we could return. The goats cheese salad I had and ham and pickle sandwich with sides that my husband had were first class.
Delicious lunch with my parents who had travelled up from Kent for mum's birthday. This fantastic tea room is a 'must do' if you are in the area. The staff are genuinely welcoming and bursting with enthusiasm. The cafe is located in a warm and wonderful historic building that feels homely and comfortable. The tea is served in proper bone china service and the home made scones are to die for.
We decided to stop here for a midday snack on a cold dismal January day. From the moment we walked through the door we were made to feel welcome. The ladies running the show were a ray of sunshine that brightened up the day. The food and drink were excellent too.
