On a trip to Glencoe we had lunch at the seafood cafe and enjoyed some lovely food. The mussels were so fresh and delicious it was well worth a visit. The staff were friendly and the service was excellent. The surroundings were also stunning.
Wow, what a great experience. Perfect seafood, sourced locally, great beer from the local brewery, and an amazing view over Loch Leven. The cold seafood platter is the finest example of Scottish seafood.
Amazing fresh sea food, we were lucky to get one of the last tables on a Wednesday night, will be sure to book next time. The restaurant is modern and the tables by the front windows enjoy an excellent view of the loch. The food and service are excellent and if you visit during the day, you may get a... 更多
There are cafés and cafés and there is the Lochleven seafood cafe. These days, since the opening of the Ballahulish Bridge, it is a bit off he beaten track buy so well worth the four mile de tour. This is a fabulous place, great views across the loch, but pride of place goes to the good and the people involved... 更多
Superb seafood for lunch ... with wonderful, crisp white wine to go with it ... sitting outside in glorious sunshine (doesn't happen every day, but when it does, this is the place to be). A birthday treat to remember ... and well worth the drive from the Central Belt to be there.
we were passing through from kinlochleven and wanted to try an oyster. i did and will never do again :) nothing to do with how nice the food is (if i liked oysters it would have been lovely) nice little gem in the middle of nowhere! must visit
First class west coast seafood. Superb seafood with laid back, friendly and welcoming staff. Great value too. Some of the best fresh seafood in Scotland. Simply prepared and all the better for it. Mussles, Langoustines, scallops and razor shells were first class. Not too stuffy and kids made welcome. Seafood chowder was amazing. We will be back!
Bit difficult to find in the pitch black but well worth it. Freshest seafood we've ever had, nice quiet restaurant with few covers so worth booking but very good service and food was fantastic.
This modest little cafe does not disappoint! The seafood could not be any tastier or fresher. The service is wonderful. The fresh anchovies are the best I have ever tasted! If you find yourself up this way it is well worth the short drive off the main road. Just take the first right after the Loch Leven Bridge. The setting is... 更多
Great seafood in this modern designed restaurant in a lovely location overlooking Loch Leven (3 mile from Kinlochleven and only 4 miles from Ballachulish Bridge - so worth the detour off the A82).
This is an unassuming little restaurant right on the shore of Loch Leven that I discovered a few years ago. I am happy to report that it is still just as good as I remember. I had the mussels, which were delicious. My husband had oysters on the half shell and the seafood soup, also both delicious. Compared to that... 更多
