A small terraza bar-coffe in the old town. The staff was vaery nice. We get good coffe-baraquito and tradicional biscuit made from Almonde.
Aguimes is a beautiful little town on Gran Canaria, but it lacks restaurants. The square in the centre of the old town has some bars, like El Populacho, and they do a great job serving you cold beers in the sun. We stopped in Aguimes by chance and had a late, great value Canarian lunch. The cafe is located by the leafy town square. The waitress spoke no English and didn't quibble when there was a misunderstanding with our order. Thanks! Excellent service and food. Have the sizzling prawns, there were DELICIOUS.

We had lunch here on a fine day in early February 2016 and I can only confirm what most other reviewers write : the food is delicious, the service is friendly and swift, the appearance of the place is quite classy and in really good taste, and it is nice to sit outside watching the village life go by in... 更多
Excellent service, decent wine and easy, yet delicious food. The bar could also be in the middle of a big stylish city, yet it only overlooks the small square in the little town of Aguimes. Be there on the 5th of January and you can first hand watch the curious busy procession of the three kings.
Nice to sit outside sharing nice tapas dishes whilst looking out onto the busy plaza thronging with locals strolling around. Good prices, bargain cocktails too. Nice way to spend our last Sunday evening in GC
