Nice atmosphere. Good service and nicely presented drinks and food. Basic food but of a good standard.
Unexpectedly good simple hot Sunday lunch served in a very traditional way with friendly staff in very simple surroundings but you can see care is taken.
My partner had pasta with a mushroom source. I could see through to the kitchen where chef scraped the mushroom source from a plastic container fresh from the microwave on to the pasta...inedible. This guy doesn't deserve any business. We went in to look at menu over a bank holiday and based on expensive prices decided to go elsewhere. We were rudely told "you won't find anywhere else to eat you know". Guess what we did and this guy serves to fail and go bust.
Lasagne and chips for lunch and a pot of tea for under a tenner, warmed us up but wasn't inspiring. This place has potential to be so much better
