This has the feeling of a family-style Italian restaurant. Service is good, food is not bad, it is simply nothing to write home about.
Surprisingly good pizza just north of Meguro station. You can get takeout – but it’s expensive by North American standards (1400 yen for what would be a small pizza back home. But very tasty.
I was not expecting an Italian restaurant in Japan to compete with any Italian experience I've ever had, but this place was great. Mushroom pasta with lots of fresh parm-regg, and garlic bread coated with real roasted garlic. It was great. The pizza is very nice. There are many variation of Italian foods. In general, the price of the Italian restaurant in Tokyo is more expensive than in any other cities overseas, but here you can enjoy Italian cuisine with reasonable price.
The menu was not too long, the service great, plenty of room outside and inside between tables. Food was good, the salads outrageously generous.
