So, I decided to take my boyfriend to Cattle Baron for his birthday. What a awe full experience! The manager was rude. I booked a table for 4 people and it was only set for 3. The food was cold when it eventually (after an hour) got to our table. I didnt get what I ordered and is still waiting... 更多
This is THE place to go for meat. Makes sense, right? When we feel extravagant, we go with a steak - usually one of the ones that get drenched and then set alight, because how is that not extravagant?! My favourite steak though was the pepper fillet madagascar - cooked in pepper, covered in pepper sauce, it had such a... 更多
We were regular visitors but the last 2 visits were a bit dissapointing. My wife is highly allergic to garlic and as we do at all restaurants we enquire and have the chef confirm which dishes do contain garlic, in order to avoid those. Low and behold her meal she ordered was again drenched in garlic. We had to return... 更多
Well, the Cattle Baron is everything you would expect it to be by its name. It's a big, brash steakhouse packed full with happy customers. The steaks we ordered were actually very, very good. Our waiter was a little overwhelmed by the pressure of the dinner hour rush, but he worked hard at keeping up. It's not a place to... 更多
These are the steaks you dream about coming from the UK to South Africa. There's a great choice and plenty to tempt you. I had the steak with the Chicken livers and delicious it was and there were similar contented sounds going from my follow diners. Each meal came with a side order thrown in of creamy spinach and butternut.... 更多

We visited the one in Durbanville on a week and a half stay in the area, visiting relatives. They hadnt been before despite living in Durbanville for 5 years, but that is because it... 更多
Met friends for an old time Capital Market Lunch. The atmosphere was great, decor in pub area inviting. Dined on a veranda and, with excellent service, was plied with great steaks, spare ribs and lamb chops. Wine kept flowing, on demand, until 18h00.All in all a great afternoon.
Some Durbanville friends told us about the special buffet offer for Senior Citizens. For R59.95 we had unlimited access to their excellent buffet. The food quality is what we have come to expect from the Cattle Baron and the place was packed. Well done Cattle Baron for the outstanding offer to the Golden Oldies.
