Not to be recommend if you are visiting in a big group. Service is slow, with no haste. Food is good, with excellent wine selection

This is probably the restaurant that we visit the most often. The reliability of a very good steak, reasonably priced, good service and friendly staff has always deliverd a pleasurable experience. The facility to bring your own wine if you want to share something from your own collection without having to pay corking fees is an added plus..
It was situated fairly close to our hotel, The Durbanville Hills hotel. We had lunch and all four of us ordered steak. Everyone had a special preference for his/her steak. Wonderful to say that each steak was done to perfection!--not something that one finds at every steak house. I will definitely go there again.
Cattle Baron served tremendous steaks including Fillet on the Bone which is a must . The selection of starters and mains will keep everyone happy with an extensive wine cellar to boot . Attentive service in a busy environment . Well worth a visit...
