I have been visiting the Heather Centre for over 30 years and was so sad to see they had a fire last April where almost everything was lost. Luckily no-one was hurt but it's a mess where once there was beauty. The lady in the shop said the local people have been fantastic with their help and support--bravo to them.... 更多
Shame as I have been here before but unfortunately a fire has destryed most of it. They are going to rebuild and you can still visit for the Antique area and a small coffee shop and heather centre
Very nice place for browsing with plants, shopping, bric a brac, and cafe, good for a wet day,.well thought out, a bit different,.great at Christmas,.!!
Unfortunately, when I stopped at the center, it was under renovation. It had recently experienced a fire that devastated most of the center. The tea room was operating, and the staff there were very friendly.
Found that you were doing teas again after the devastating fire in the spring. Wonderful to see you open for business and as welcoming as ever. The Victoria Sponge was to die for. xx
We've visited several times and always come away with some lovely gifts, plants and cakes. Have eaten int he cafe a few times which has a good range of snacks, all at a reasonable price. A pleasant way to spend a few hours in the area.
If your wanting to eat in this part of the highlands then this lovely centre is the place to visit, dumplings as you've never tasted them before, if your not eating then there is plenty to see...................
I often visit the Centre for its great selection of Scottish grown plants and the helpful friendly service. Food in restaurant is not my kind of food but I know a lot would love it. It's too traditional for me! But I love the Centre for its friendly staff and plants and great selection of bird food and feeders.
