The Inn is well located to all the Symonds Yat amenities in an idyllic spot next to the River Wye. The staff who work there are great and the food (we had breakfast & dinner) was excellent. Plenty of parking.
Very helpful and friendly staff and an amazing view from the dining area and bedroom. Minor complaints - loo seat loose, they'd run out of mushrooms (!), and the breakfast sausages were off. Plus the sun didnt shine enough so that always makes me more grumpy!
We had a great stay.
It was our second year...yes we returned
Its a great location for canoeing , walking and mountain biking in Forest of Dean
Service in hotel was friendly and top quality
We will return
Staff were very friendly, and concerned for the help and welfare of their customers very rare in today's world surroundings of room a little tired although rooms were clean and well equipt TV needed a magnifying glass to view but had all free view channels
Peaceful and pretty riverside location. Very comfortable and nicely decorated room. Rustic restaurant with excellent food. Good range of beers, ciders and lagers as well as some reasonable wines. Strong wifi signal.
On a bank of the River Wye, this pub is in a fabulous spot. We had a lovely room, the staff were friendly, efficient and attentive. Very good food and good ales also - a wide range of beers, ciders and lagers in fact. What more could you want?
Excellent views and location of the river Wye.
Great food and hospitality from breakfast through until dinner.
Espeically liked you could fish for free by the hotel.
Good room facilities - e.g. coffee machine
The hotel accommodation is not fancy but the location is beautiful and the rooms overlook the River Wye. Food is good and well presented. Good choices for both the evening meal and breakfast. You will need a car and this not a suitable place if you can't cope with stairs. It's a fun place to stay for a night or...
I have recently been there, the whole establishment is run down... the toilets have a pungent odour coming from them..... there are holes in the pool room ceiling and water dripping in.
On the plus side the food was not too bad
Visited Ye Old Ferrie Inn as part of a charity 3 days charity bike ride, and it proved to be a perfect base for us.
The bunkhouse accommodation is well used, but was very good value. It was one of the few places that could accommodate all 18 of us, provide us with breakfast and an evening meal.
