You have to check in across the street at the other building, but don't try and use the toaster there for the bagel you bought or you will get yelled at. Cleaning staff was nice and it is a short walk to most places.
Next to their B&B is a small motel, Primrose Place. Easy parking for our heavily laden car with bikes and sea kayaks, fresh room, porch sitting and an easy walk to downtown Bar Harbor; and, very quiet. We'd stay there again in a heart beat.
Just spent 3 nights at Primrose Place. The check in process was quick and good recommendations were provided for restaurants in Bar Harbor. The room was spacious, comfortable, and quiet. Had a good shower. Reasonably priced within walking distance of downtown, Bar Island, and many good restaurants. Definitely would stay here again.
This fit our needs perfectly for our weekend there. Very clean, quiet even though we were right beside the pantry. Loved the fact that we could leave our car there and walk downtown. We would definitely stay there again.
Primrose place is in the perfect location, it is clean, and the staff is so friendly. Good bed, showers. Great value for the cost! Close to Acadia and 5 minute walk to the center of town. Don't miss Sherman's for shopping and the ice cream a few stores to the right.
We spent 3 nights. The rooms were perfect for us. Clean, comfortable bed and great shower. Location on edge of town so it is quiet but a very short walk center of town. 10 minutes from Acadia Nat'l Park. Reasonable rates. We stayed in the motel. There is a BandB across street. Looked nice.
As people have mentioned, this motel has been upgraded recently. It is a motel, not a B&B, just to be clear - but it is a very nice motel. Rooms are a little on the small side but have everything you need. No fridge in the room but there is a shared fridge in the pantry area where they even...
We really enjoyed our stay here while visiting Bar Harbor. Clean, updated, and comfortable. The motel has a very friendly and attentive staff. Perfect location...very quiet and an easy walk to town. Within minutes of Acadia National Park. We'll be back!
We love B & B's so we clicked on Primrose Inn. Somehow we got booked in to Primrose Place which is owned by the same proprietor. We didn't discover this until we arrived and were given suggestions of where to go for breakfast! Upon visiting the Inn the next morning we saw that their guests were being served a sumptuous...
We had stayed at the Aurora Inn several times in the past and were pleased to see it done over and modernized, sort of... Things you should know: No room phones or refrigerators; basic accommodations; not fancy or deluxe; nice new bathroom and big screen cable TV; mattress too soft and pillows too firm, but that's a matter of taste;...
