Stopped in for a pub lunch. The owner was charming, the food was very tasty and well priced. the bar area is cosy and welcoming. This was not my first visit to Clonyard and as always I was not disappointed I would recommend a visit.
We went there for a meal and party night just before Christmas, the meal was a disaster,6 of us in party ,five meals came at different times but they forgot the 6th meal and when it came it was awful.all the meals were average.
What a fantastic Hogmanay break. We are a vibrant family of 5 - children aged 11, 10 and 6 and could not be made to feel more welcome. We arrived as guests but left as friends. Terri and Neil could not run a more hospitable hotel. No request was too much for them. Our Hogmanay break was the best we...

Had overnight stay for Christmas disco night. Excellent bar lunch on arrival and super evening meal in the dining room. Lively party atmosphere for disco. Very friendly staff and locals also gave warm welcome. Neil a genial host who puts everyone at their ease. Highly recommended.
Booked for a special anniversary meal. Bit disappointed. Left to find an empty chair to put our jackets on. Meal o.k.but onion rings soggy and duck a bit over cooked. Staff friendly but will not rush back
Terri and Neil have worked so hard to make improvements at the Clonyard. It is a lovely place to come and relax. We have been on many afternoons for a lunch and a drink and it never fails to hit the spot.

We stopped in the Clonyard House Hotel (28 people) during a 3 day cycling trip. This hotel is lovely, homely and very welcoming. Our rooms were very pleasant after a long journey. Terry, Neil and family made us all feel very welcome. The meal on the night was absolutely georgous. Haggis starter highly recommended, best I have ever tasted. The...

We were made very welcome and the dog was even given biscuits - a bonus for our dog - who is ruled...
