The room was mid-sized with a nice size bureau if you were spending more than one day at the hotel. The armoire was also a suitable size. The bathroom was on the small size but the shower had good pressure.
Efficient checking in - bags were in room. Bathroom was amazing - bath and shower were so good. Actual bathroom was spacious and under floor heating had our bits of washing dry by morning. I think it had under floor heating as it was warm to walk on.
Food in restaurant was very good although waiting staff were not so...
Was staying in a cottage across the road so was hoping to be eating here. Had a meal in the bar first night. Had about five chips on plate and burger had a dry piece of chicken in it. On the Sunday we decided to try it again for a roast dinner. It said roast beef with all the trimmings....
The staff was kind, the room (basic room) was very small and a little renovation could do the room good. The bathroom was a shareable one, but it was clean and had everything you need. Breakfast was ok and the supper the night before (curry) enjoyable.
My wife and I have returned from an overnight stay at the Tyndrum Inn last week end. It was fantastic from start to finish. Staff were very friendly and helpful. The room was freshly decorated and had everything you would need. The weather wasn't great but we were there to relax so we sat in bar watched the tennis and...
We arrived late at night, the staff gave us a warm welcome. The room was a bit small but clean and renovated. The bathroom was clean and new. House itself was a bit dated but charming. breakfast was included in the room rate and it was really good. Had a fun night in the bar downstairs. Wifi didn´t work well.
Food was awful!
Really disappointed as this place is reasonably local to us. I expected the burgers on the menu to be homemade given the price, however they were poor quality processed rubbish , as was the chicken fillet burger. The food was clearly reheated as it took less than 10 minutes to make. Will not be back
I've never seen a place that was dirtier
then this hotel. Absolutely unacceptable. Probably every prison cell is bigger than the hotel rooms. Please see pictures. No WiFi in the room, in the bar very unstable. Never again.
Stayed here on day 4 of our WHW trip after walking from Inverarnan. Warm welcome at both bar and reception, superb double ground floor room at the rear of hotel, with the most comfortable bed and best nights sleep of the trip. Had dinner in the restaurant (steak and lamb shank) and finished our bottle of wine sitting outside before...
I wanted to do a little bit of hiking on the West Highland way. I needed a place to stay. Due to this being a last minute trip, most of the other locations were booked. At 30GBP it was a great price. The room did not include a toilet or shower. I think I was warned about this over the...
