A very dated hotel. Stopped for lunch whilst on a walk. Limp sandwich and a few crisps. The only real positive is the location - fantastic position for great views of Loch lomond. Needs updating to really make the most of its position.
We were celebrating our 44th wedding anniversary and thought we would try lochs& glens.we were picked up from filton Bristol we had a rest break about 1/2 hour into our trip (some passengers were travelling from Weston super mare.coach driver Sandra was very friendly. We changed drivers and we had dave who took us to our hotel. Taking two more...
Returned home from a 7 day holiday at this hotel today.Another good holiday with Lochs and Glens.Firstly the hotel, while parts still need further updating our room was fairly large and with the big window very bright and airy.I know that not all rooms have the view that we had looking out onto Loch Lomond so always a lottery with the...
Lochs and glens holidays just the best for the money great hotel food fantastic nice clean rooms great excursions unbeatable holidays thanks to Peter our coach driver for a great time we'll done on the Inversnaid motorway
Sitting on the banks of Loch Lomond this is a great spot to stop for a drink and a bite to eat. We stopped for a break on our hike of the West Highland way and we were impressed by the friendly staff. The prices are very good considering their isolated location and captive audience
My first trip to Scotland and first trip with Lochs & Glens Holidays. After a 13hour journey with brilliant chirpy coach driver Tommy we were warmly greeted at the Inversnaid Hotel. Our cases were taken to our rooms, our room was spacious and although it overlooked the back of the hotel we felt the time we would spend in our...
This was our first trip with Lochs and Glens, we booked it purely for the Falkirk Wheel and we were not disappointed. The staff and professionalism were exceptional at the Inversnaid Hotel and on talking with seasoned Lochs and Glens travellers we are looking to book a trip up to Ardgarten Hotel for Hogmanay this year. Our drivers (Eddie Rooney,...
My partner & I travelled from Helensburgh to see the east side of Loch Lomond & fondly imagined that we could eat lunch at this hotels restaurant.
However we found that the hotel was swamped with providing lunch for two coach parties and all that was on offer was a soup that I detest and a choice of sandwiches. We...
Food takes ages - very poor quality - hotel rooms are a joke. More like staying in an east block prison - rude staff and non-existing management presence.
Overall do not waste your time, energy or money on poor cleanliness, poor food quality and poor hospitality
After 45 minute wait we had to cancel and take refund on food order, in order to get boat-return. Too long for sandwuches and chips! Left with our hungry children; all disappointed. No atmosphere at all; very dull. However, looking at others' meals, I'm pleased we had to leave!
