Fine location. Great scenery. The owner was very gentle and willing to help us in every way. The breakfast was of good quality. However the restaurant (pub) a few yards further was a disappointment. I recommend.
Walking the West Highland Way we reached Crianlarich after a hard but enjoyable day. We were given a warm welcome and helpful advice about where we might have dinner. Our room was very comfortable and breakfast splendid.
Phil and Wendy were great hosts. Wendy the packed luck was huge, thank you it more than kept me going on my continuing journey hiking West Highland Way.
Room was comfortable. Breakfast was really nice cooked by Wendy, served by Phil.
Nice overnight stay.
Does what it says on the tin. Clean and comfortable stay. Single room was well appointed and the breakfast was very nice indeed. Little bit dated in style but for one night on the west highland way this was by no means a problem. Nice location and very good value.
A second visit to Wendy and Phil, the first being in 2007,while walking the West Highland Way. A warm welcome, excellent breakfast and nice rooms meant I had to stay there again while walking the Way for a second time. I was not disappointed. It is worth the detour off the Way to stay here, and, it would be a great place to...
Lovely place with terrific views. Wendy and Phil (cheeky chappie!) could not have been warmer hosts. Very well-appointed room; traditional in style. Nearby Best Western (Italian theme) good for evening meal. Majority of fellow guests were German bikers; charming guys, and it's obvious that they know how good this place is!!
We were lucky to get a room as this...
I stayed at this B&B for one night while walking the West Highland Way. Very good location, clean and comfortable room and bed, great breakfast and lovely hosts who made me feel very welcome. Definitely recommended!
We got a warm welcome "in the middle of nowhere". The room was clean and quite. The breakfast was excellent. In garden you can watch birds The landscape is wonderful and it is a good starting point for hikes.
Stayed at Glenardran House for 3 nights again at Easter- just as good as last time! Owners Phil & Wendy are friendly and hospitable and have cosy, well equipped clean ensuite bedrooms and serve up a great breakfast. They can also provide a wholesome packed lunch if you are going straight out on to the hills.
Warm and friendly welcome by Phil and Wendy. Comfortable rooms (we had a triple room), excellent breakfast and a location just a minute away from the next pub...what more do you want? Unfortunately we could not visit the nice surroundings because we stayed there just one night to head to our next travel destination (and the weather was not that...
