Driving down the interstate looking for a hotel we came upon the small town of Cuba, NY and the Econo Lodge. The owner checked us in after we looked at the room. This is not an upscale place, but very adequate for a nights rest.
The room was no smoking and clean. Loved the sliding operable window. Front desk was friendly. TV was just fine. Towels in place. Breakfast area was adequate for the number of rooms. Not a vacation hot spot. We had a great stay. Would stay again
Though significantly cheaper than hotels I saw in Corning, I felt that $115 was a bit pricey for the room, but we were happy with the room in general, and the woman at the desk was very helpful. We MISTAKENLY got a SMOKING room-I booked online with CHOICE. $125! For a "so so" room. I nicely asked to be moved to a non-smoking room and was told NO because I had booked online. Had a headache all night. Price was way too high and customer satisfaction (me!) is BAD!
