We came here with friends for my partners birthday and stayed over night, the bedroom we had had an en suite and a spacious bedroom. Thoroughly enjoyed the time we had here and had a lovely breakfast served by friendly welcoming staff.
We called in to this place a few nights ago, we had hungry children with us so stopped for a meal. The menu choice wasn't great but needs must so we stayed. There was 7 of us and I can honestly say every meal came out of the freezer not one was home cooked, my veg was still cold, my...
I stay in this hotel for the first times and it is very nice and tipical . I found the rooms clean and very nice and comfortable.
I like the breakfast with toast and jam.

It was like staying with family. You were made to feel welcome from the moment you arrived until the second you left. The Lodge is clean and very nicely presented. A good lcation with views of the surrounding landscape too.
I stayed in this hotel many times. All rooms are comfortable, bright, clean with all the facilities needed for a great night.
Great breakfast with large quantities of cereals available.
WiFi with good signal, pool table, and a good variety of beers will accompany you before and after dinner.
Both Barry & Corrine owners are friendly and always available to...
We visited for a meal out and a few drinks.

Although the hotel is slightly off the beaten track it is easy to find with spectacular views of the River Witham on the way in. Being off the beaten track has the added benefit that it is quite with little passing...
Day four of Felixstowe to Hull cycle ride.

Room quite small (single bed), clean and tidy, tea making and tv - but not en-suite.
Menu was interesting - first time I have had warm pate (was that a ping I heard), mains ok. Beer was good but limited to one. Full English did the job...

An interesting & varied menu, we had lasagne (delicious), and a...
