Great place. and view of the peaks....for our RV stay! The Durango and Silverton Train was wonderful to see each afternoon. Great location to Jeep up the passes, and friendly staff. The laundry facilities were very clean!
Nice location, easy walking distance to town (essentially right in Silverton).. Very friendly staff, clean restrooms, showers, and facilities.Site is just a gravel parking lot, but location makes up for that.
The engine light on the jeep stayed on the whole time, and before we left we told them and they said, "That is normal and vehicles do that for some reason at this altitude". The jeep had no back windows and when it rained whoever or whatever is in the back seat would get wet. We also told them beforehand...
These sites are very close together and it's crowded during the summer. They had very Clean bathrooms though and friendly owners. We don't normally like tight spots like this but we needed electricity since it's cold at night there. It's close to great 4 wheeling and you can rent jeeps right there at the campground.
Spaces are adequate in size, each site has a picnic table, office staff is very friendly. We picked this park so we could ride ATV to trails easily. Lots of gift shops, restaurants within walking distance to rv park.
