Fabulous outlook and sunset, wonderful dinner with generous serves at a surprisingly reasonable price, and great ambience on a balmy evening. Thoroughly recommend it to anyone seeking a perfect night out.

Feels like your on a Whitsunday island without leaving the main land. Amazing beach setting, cafe & beach bar with everything from meals, cocktails to coffee & cake. You do have a small gravel section to travel in but easily accessible by car too.

Very secluded and intimate, montes is the perfect place to visit when you want to leave the hustle and bustle behind.
The beer is icy cold and the food is excellent. The seafood platter is a must
Montes is an immaculate resort which offers the best in food , accommodation and relaxing atmosphere. We visit here often and are still impressed each time by the location, venue, food and staff. It's absolute paradise!
If you are into 'deep fried' or 'covered in a cream sauce' then this is your place.

We anchored off the resort on Cup day and even though they had a function on, we were still welcomed and enjoyed a beautiful lunch. Service was friendly and very good, in particular one charming waitress who won my heart with the smile in her eyes.
Montes Reef resort is tucked away in Hideaway Bay, a tiny resort of some canons, however, the open air restaurant is superb, so good that people flew in on a helicopter just to eat.
The view is certainly 'one to die for'. A mere 45 minutes out of Airlie and a must to do on a great weather day
