We stayed 2 nights at Rowallen House, and would definitely recommend it to anyone visiting the area. Our room was warm and comfortable, and the breakfasts were superb! I had haggis for the first time and have developed a taste for it.
Very nice B&B super clean and a good breakfast, freindly host. We were in town for the folk festival and all venues were in easy walking distance . We would certainly stay next year. Excellent value for money.
We needed a rest after a stressful few months and Rowallan proved to be the perfect solution. The house was full of character and interesting items from South Africa. However the "icing on the cake" was Julie Hart. We felt immediately comfortable with her, she was very friendly and nothing was too much trouble.
