We had an awful experience with a motel in central Montana the night before. By comparison, the Motel 8 was a luxurious oasis on our road trip. In reality, it was a solid place to stay for the night; slightly outdated but clean and comfortable. We woke up refreshed and ready for the last stretch of driving.
The hotel is permeated with the smell of mold or something akin to it. The bed was one of the best I've slept in. Must be new mattresses. Not much on amenities but they did have a microwave and an large capacity room fridge. Quiet for the most part and parking was easy. We chose this because they allow pets......
Neat and clean, comfortable enough for a place to sleep. Spent our days in the lakes and evening with fruends and family so really just needed a place to shower and sleep. A bit expensive for a hotel with 0 amenities. Staff was fabulous! Friendly, knowledgeable of local area and weekend events.
