You will not find better hosts or a more relaxing and welcoming hotel in the UK. Rooms v comfortable, countryside very beautiful, and absolutely fantastic food. Didn't want to leave and will certainly be back.
Excellent food, varied menu for all tastes. The staff were very friendly and went above and beyond to make our trip a success.
The room was quiet and comfortable with free wifi.
Great for business or a short break.
I went there on buisness and found my stay wonderful, superb food, really friendly service, I was lucky enough to stay in a suite which was a beautiful room. No doubt I will definitely return again with the mrs.
Incredible hotel! Great food and great service! Always went above and beyond the call of duty to help us! Beautiful surroundings which you could just look at all day. The manager Cameron is an outstanding chap and made us all feel welcome!
We booked a stay here whilst having a bit of a driving holiday and wish we had booked for longer.
We had a amazing rooftop room with fabulous view and quite possibly the best bathroom ever, spacious and a whirlpool bath. The bed was so comfy we are now trying to get the same one for home!
The staff where...
This hotel is truly faultless. The entire staff are all so incredibly friendly, the rooms are adoringly quaint and the food is exquisite, fresh and local. This has to be one of nicest hotels in Wales... i'll be going back there for sure.
Amazing food, beautiful surroundings, great bar. The staff were wonderful and we all received a really amazing service!
We we're there in a a party of 15 and we had been travelling all over Europe - so far this was by far our most pleasing stay.
Could not recommend enough.
We spent 24 hours at The Old Rectory as part of our anniversary celebrations, and have had a really lovely time. We had the honeymoon suite, which afforded us plenty of space, a really comfy 4-poster bed, jacuzzi-bath, and amazing views over the mountains.
All the staff were extremely friendly and helpful, despite being busy setting up for a wedding...
Stayed here whilst my students embarked on their Duke of Edinburgh expedition across the Brecon Beacons. Was such a lovely hotel - very rustic but the best part was the friendly warm staff. Jane especially, who was very welcoming and even knew me by name!
The view from my single room was lovely and the evening meals were lovely too....
