My friends and I came here for my hen do, and we had a nice time. We spent some time in the spa and had a treatment each and then went for a meal. The spa isn't amazing. Facilities are limited and the staff are rude. Treatments weren't good, it seemed as if the staff were trained to a basic... 更多
Afternoon tea at the Grand Hotel is always a most enjoyable experience. The 'grand hall' is just that, 'grand'. And a perfect setting for a little self indulgence. Everything is perfectly presented and served. The hotel's real trump card is the staff. Perfectly attentive and yet never obsequious, splendid. Thanks to them all.
Lovely 1920/30s hotel, must have been very Grand back in the day.Room was expensive for what we recieved £145 for a not special room (141),floors creaked so much it was actually very bad.Staff were superb, polite, attentive.Food in the restaurant for dinner and breakfast was very good BUT when we phoned for a bucket of ice and were told it will cost... 更多
We decided to go to Eastbourne and the seven sisters on a Friday and we're glad to find a family room available at the Grand Hotel. The large, white building is like big open arms waiting to welcome you in. Very friendly and accommodating staff and a clean, spacious and comfortable room. Just steps away from the promenade and beach... 更多
We spent two nights in this grand hotel and it was perfect in every way.. The service was excellent. Staff were friendly and welcoming. It was a great experience and we would like to stay in the same hotel again when we go to Eastbourne.
Spent two nights in this giant of a 5 star. The staff are just perfect. The hotel is looking old in the corridors but this adds to the charm. She is old but as the name suggests she is just Grand! You will have an experience staying here an experience that if in London you could easily triple your bill.... 更多
Room 122 for one night. The room is at the back of the hotel on the first floor. High quality furniture and furnishings and a very comfortable bed. Nice new carpet and housekeeping is first class. Bathroom smallish but everything that you need. Public areas downstairs are always a delight - a lot of space and choice of seating style... 更多
Traditional, very British 5 star hotel and none the worse for that! Great welcome from friendly concierge, helpful and professional staff, great breakfast buffet. Windows rattle a bit in high winds but warm and cosy inside. The place to stay in Eastbourne.
My partner and I had a spare Saturday evening. We decided on a quick trip to Eastbourne and made the Grand our choice of hotel. Our stay was a delight, and it is firmly on my recommended list. Would definitely stay here again. Instant service when we arrived by car; valet was happy to park the car in what seemed... 更多
Beautiful old lady by the sea with some of the best staff that I have met anywhere in the world. 5 staff service at every angle. Lovely breakfast buffet with choices from kitchen too. Rooms spacious with Molten Brown toiletries which was a nice treat - it would have been nicer if we'd had a full set per guest rather... 更多
We went to the Grand with high expectations, sadly they were not met. The initial experience of being greeted by a very friendly conceierge who took our bags and parked the car was a good start and certainly the public areas are very impressive. We were led to our room ( a junior suite at approximately £270 a night) and... 更多
This is a typically 'grand' hotel and experience. An old seafront building, so not crisp, sterile and built of glass, thankfully. This place exudes class... beautiful elegant surroundings, large vaulted hallways and lounges, enormous fireplace to enjoy a traditional english afternoon tea in front of (to be highly recommended!). Effortlessly elegant service, delivered without pompousness makes you feel very special.... 更多
