I travel to Oberkochen a couple of times per year and have stayed at this hotel many times. The best thing I can say about it is that it is consistent; it's not a Hilton, but it's not a Motel 6 either. It's the kind of place that grows on a person after repeated visits. Americans staying here for the first time may be put off by the low, single beds with down duvets instead of top sheets and blankets, the lack of air conditioning, and the cacaphony of church bells at 7 a.m. The elevator is the smallest I have ever been in except the one inside the Gateway Arch in St. Louis, MO.
On the good side, it is well kept, if dated, and is very clean. The staff is very friendly and helpful, and the hotel restaurant is good. There's free Wifi and most rooms have a reasonably-priced mini bar. There is a (rather tight) parking lot below, and an outdoor lot about half a block away.
