Our camp site was pretty fine. The quality of the rest rooms and showers is sufficient. Nice people at the reception desk. On the camp ground there was a lot of old stuff (cars, trucks and other undefined stuff)
I have been camping my entire life and have been all over Alberta. I have stayed in the heart of the bush with no amenities and I have stayed in "city folk" RV campgrounds (like Daisy May) that attempt to cater to the glamping crowd. Daisy May is an interesting campground in that you can tell at one point probably...
We stayed in their cabin that they have for rent. It was great it had a small fridge and microwave which came in handy with the rain. It is a real log cabin so it was very nice and had a great deck built on the front where we sat most of the time enjoying the Old Man River and...
We stayed at Daisy may for Fathers day weekend. I asked to be in a secluded spot. We got put up the end of the upper area, which my kids loved as they had a big grass area to play without bothering anyone. It wasn't an extremely busy weekend anyhow which was great.
We had bought a new trailer and hadn't...
We stayed in the cabin available at Daisy May Campground for a couple of nights while visiting HeadSmashedIn Buffalo Jump. The cabin is on the banks of the Old Man River, and there are walking and bike trails along the river. The grounds and pool were a hit with the kids, and it is dog friendly. Great people, Great stay.
Outdated, rude staff, my husband was screamed at and called a free loader. They don't deal with campers complaints, the only pros are closer to tourist attractions like Waterton and the Buffalo Jump. Take your money else where!
If you are looking for a family friendly handy place to camp this is it!! Best place to stay if you are planning day trips taking in the sites of southern Alberta. You are no more than 90 minutes away from everything southern Alberta has to offer! Ran very well, decent price, and friendly campers and staff!
We spent the past weekend at Daisy May Campground in one of their cabins. It was super cute and situated right across from the River which was nice! The site has lots to do. Mini Golf, Pool, Hot Tub, Horseshoes etc and we also were able to bike around quite a bit through the different site areas. The main washrooms/shower...
Cabins are right across from the river, soothing sound at night. Nice little fire, was a busier place but still serene. Cabins were clean and cozy. Pool and hot tub were nice and kept our daughter occupied. Would recommend and return!
Pool & Hot tub! Enough said about this place. The campsites are tights but the pool & hot tub make it worth it. The store has everything you need. The staff are nice and friendly. I would try to book early as they book up the good spots quickly.
