Very adequate accommodations, good food (dinner and breakfast provided), scenic surroundings. It rained most of the time, but they let us put our motorcycles in the barn. Great out of the way destination.
This is definitely a place to stay, if you are going to the San Pedro Martir National Park, which during the winter actually can have snow, and with its pine trees smacks of the Sierra Nevada in California. There seem to be some cabins at the park entrance.
The ranch is located 50km along the 100km road to the Park....
One thing not mentioned here is the one hour plus drive from Highway 1 on a very winding road that prohibits going more than 50 MPH. I was told when making the reservation there was electricity but it was not mentioned that the rooms have no electricity at all. So here it is in the high 80's and I arrived...
the rooms were clean, great ranch experience with horse riding and typical ranch meals. Christian Meling and his staff were really kind, even prepared a vegetarian meal option for my wife.
The pool is a great plus when returning from hikes in the national park.
When the lights are out at 10 pm the star gazing beats everything.
