I wish I could leave five stars .... the food was absolutely delicious and well worth a visit. Chips to die for .... and Dornie burger excellent! A pity that the waitress was a bit surly, but that wouldn't prevent me going again.
Remember that Dornie is known mostly for it's proximity to the Isle of Skye and the Eilean Donan Castle annoy tourism itself and it wil will easy to accept thing this is the best opt on in town both for value and friendliness. I wouldn't agree with the reviewer who described the accomodation as 'perfectly adequate ' but the feel...
stayed here during march 2015 for 1 night.
we arrived without a reservation and we were given a twin room that we needed for 1 night for a good price.
The room was comfy and we ate in the bar attached to the hotel. the locals were friendly and the food was good (recommend the main with the haggis!)
