Great little attraction with lots of sea turtles to look at, only downfall is none of the displays are in English but enjoyed looking in the tanks at the turtles.
You cannot miss this spectacular institution right next to the road between ST Pierre and ST Gilles. here you can observe several species of sea turtle in their environment of safety. A well informative visit in world class facility. See the history of sea turtles, as well as their future... Browse in the well stocked shop. An amazing experience.
Walked here from our hotel in St Leu, it is a great place to spend an hour or two. You get great views of the turtles from both above and below the water, and it only costs €7 to get in. Was happy to be helping their conservation work.
Spent a good hour or so wondering around this fantastic place. A little tired in places but staff great and to see the turtles up close was worth every penny. Some good conservation work done.
Really disgusting. The animals are in small dirty pens and look so sad. Many have skin disease, you can see abscesses on them. One has a beak worn away from trying to scrape the bare rocks in the pool for food, they must be so mal nourished. They have no shelter from the sun. Just boiling all day for tourist... 更多

Some turtles just kept trying to climb out of the... 更多
This place has good intentions and I really liked the display comparing the size of different breeds of turtle. I had no idea the leatherback was so big. The turtles also seemed interested in their visitors, but I spent most of the visit wishing they had more space.
The visit to the turtle centre was worth a visit for a couple of hours. It would have been an even better experience if information had been available in English to better help us understand the work being done here . Never the less we enjoyed our visit & would recommend coming here.
