It's a nice place to drop in & have a look at all their turtles. Hard to find out anything about them though or the research programs being undertaken because there's no information in English. Could have been a lot better for this reason but in any case I'm glad they're doing something to protect them.
The turtles are very well cared, it's not an aquarium because they use to return the turtles to the sea when they are sane. We needed an english guide, they don't have... And we didn't see the little turtles, it would be a unique thing! We don't like people who touch the turtles, even there is a sign forbidding it.... 更多
A very well run facility, with lots of displays and informative signs. Unfortunately they're all in French, so makes understanding the descriptions a problem if you don't speak French
I have been to few turtles sanctuary in Malaysia, compare to those, it is more organize and well facilitated, all the turtles are well taking care. However I just feel like the turtles are no more freedom, and being locked in the big "pool" to ensure all the visitors are able to view it. I believe it doesn't have a... 更多
I enjoyed my visit to this museum/ turtle sunctuary. It does a good job of explaining the life of marine turtles. And offers close encounters with turtles, most of which seem to be here for their protection (one was missing a flipper for instance) rather than for pure display purposes. A great experience for families and kids, too
Great little attraction with lots of sea turtles to look at, only downfall is none of the displays are in English but enjoyed looking in the tanks at the turtles.
You cannot miss this spectacular institution right next to the road between ST Pierre and ST Gilles. here you can observe several species of sea turtle in their environment of safety. A well informative visit in world class facility. See the history of sea turtles, as well as their future... Browse in the well stocked shop. An amazing experience.
Walked here from our hotel in St Leu, it is a great place to spend an hour or two. You get great views of the turtles from both above and below the water, and it only costs €7 to get in. Was happy to be helping their conservation work.
Spent a good hour or so wondering around this fantastic place. A little tired in places but staff great and to see the turtles up close was worth every penny. Some good conservation work done.
