Only walked a portion of the trail just outside Penticton but it was really nice. Walking throught the vineyards was so pleasant. I was surprised that there weren't a lot of people on the trail, of those mostly bicyclers. I stopped at the Trail Store and had an ice cream which hit the spot. The trail goes by several wine... 更多
What a great experience! Definitely a must do. We biked from Myra Canyon to the first tunnel. We were told from one of the Myra Canyon bike rentals staff that it was 4k to the tunnel. The youngest in our group was 6 and he managed to do the return trip! It's flat but can be bumpy in spots. Fine... 更多
We did 18 Km on bikes with my 9 year old twins. They have never biked that far but were having so much fun with the scenery they did not even notice the distance.
We spent 3 days biking the KVR Trail with the help of Paula and Swade! They were amazing. The ride was beautiful, the lodging fabulous and the logistics perfect!
The trail is 12km end to end so 24km return. It is quite level and passes over 18 trestles and through 2 tunnels. A nice easy cycle for a couple of hours or more depending on stoppage time for the views. You can rent bikes for $39 per persom for a half day.
If you have the pleasure of visiting the Okanagan it is a must to ride or walk at least some part of the the KVR trail! I can highly recommend the the Myra Canyon section for the the breathtaking scenery of the trestle bridges but I fell in love with the Naramatta- Penticton section for the views of Lake Okanagan,... 更多
I did the trail from Myra to penticton. No problem. I'm 59 and bike a few miles once or twice a week. I suppose my expectations were the trail was rugged, isolated and dangerous. I almost never went based on the reviews. I loaded up with bear spray, extra clothing etc and said my goodbyes in case I never made... 更多
A friend and myself rode the KVR from Myra/Bellevue Park to Penticton. With stops, it took about 6 hours. The ride itself is amazing. You get incredible views and solitude for the most part. However, it is a rough/not easy ride. I would call it a ba*& buster ride. You are riding over gravel, big rocks and sand through-out the... 更多
Great outdoors place to walk and explore nature and beautiful scenery. We had a little chipmunk running up to us curious with us being there. Breath taking views worth the drive on a bumpy road
