From charity shops, outlet stores (really good ones, too!!), ethnic restaurants, coffee places, there is a little something for everyone on Smith street.. Plus, all kinds of diverse people. Check it out and don't miss the Keith Haring Mural on Johnston street..
A truly eclectic street, with something for everyone - from the hipsters, to the yuppies, to the teeny boppers and the googly-eyed tourists. Lots of interesting brik and brak shops, as well as top notch (even hatted) restaurants. Worth a googly-eying adventure.
Always something cool happening here - do it by foot from one end to the other. Try Johnston St to Gertrude St via Smith St - pretty ace!
Lots of nice cafes, restaurants and bars. Morning/midday good selection of cafes on smith street and around smith street. Afternoons great selection of restaurants and bars on dmith street. Not far from cbd and parallel to other popular streets (brunswick st, lygons st).
A beautiful way to spend a nice warm afternoon shopping through a number of outlet stores with plenty of cafes to stop at for wonderful coffee or a little something to eat. Well worth visiting.
This street has something for all. Take your time to explore the vintage shops, cafes and restaurants, vegetarian/vegan shops, grocer's and butchers, factory outlets and many other beautiful and eclectic stores. One day is not enough. I stayed in the area for 12 days and only scratched the surface. Be sure to wander down the side streets too and go... 更多

It is still a bit scruffy in parts but its now a long... 更多
What a great place Smith Street is. We are visiting from London and think that this is a cool place to visit, there is a real vibe here. Great cafes, interesting shops, good bars and restaurants. Check it out before it becomes too main stream.
A number of good restaurants have moved into Smith Street probably because of the low rent and proximity to the city. It is not a very attractive Street and in time may get better
