If you are in the area, please visit this church.
The church is at the end of a 7-km-long forest road. Don't feel lost but keep driving very cautiously as the road is only of a car's width. Of course there are places where you can go past a car coming from the opposite direction.

Great peaceful church that feels more like a memorial than a church which I enjoyed.
Great walk up from the carpark is much more rewarding than attempting to drive the last 20min. Great view and a great start to the valley hike.
Take care in the road up to the capital of driving as the road is narrow and gravel.
A beautiful little church in the hills - built by the Austro - Hungarian forces in the war (1914-18).
The church includes the names of the fallen - not the large range of nationalities and religions.

Very cute small church. This was built during first world war for soldiers to find peace. Road to get there is very narrow but there are not a lot of traffic on that road. I tried to walk there, but it was too much on a sunny +35C day. It´s about 10 km from center of Tolmin. So, couple of...
The church is wonderful and worth to visit when you are in a Soča river valley. You can reach from Tolmin by car (about 7 km) or on foot (2 hours one direction). The church was built as a monument for soldiers who had died in WWI (1914-1918).
One of MUST if you come to Tolmin !!
