Large country park with lots of picnic and bbq areas. Great setting on the coast with a small shingle beach, lots of open space for games, children's play areas and miniature railway. Entrance is free but small charge for parking. This is a regular visit for the family when we want a simple, fun day out in the fresh air.... 更多
We arrived in Southampton and looked for a place to walk the dog and stumbled upon this place. Having two children, they soon sniffed out the Adventure Playgrounds, and were happy to play for a couple of hours. There seemed to be a miniature Railway, although it didn't seem appealing after inquiring with the rather gruff Train Driver how we... 更多
Lovely day out, access to the beach, climbing frames, the miniature railway and enhanced by facilities on site such as toilets, baby change, cafe(could be better) and a small gift shop. You can also hire out the BBQ pits which would serve great as a venue. Bad points: ice cream van doesn't do me whippy ice creams :(
The play area within the park is fantastic, and also offers accessible play which is a very good thing. It's really well thought out, and for a park with just a play area and a cafe which were open (the Chapel was closed) you can spend a good few hours there. Top tip - parking is about £1.20 for an... 更多
We had a very enjoyable day in the park with family aged from 1 month to 70 years old and all had a good time. The staff are helpful and the information provided is good. The playgrounds provide lots of fun for children of all ages and the little kids enjoyed the train trip. The park manages to be compact... 更多

We enjoyed Royal Victoria country park. We had a walk through forest, explored the grave yard and the little beach, which was quite a sun trap. The park that we found for the kids to play in was quite average. It's like a less posh moors valley, with cheaper parking.
A great play park for all kids to enjoy; with a miniature railway through the woods. Wide open spaces for games. Its close to the water to paddle in when its really hot. And a good café.
