It's hard for a man to go anywhere like this alone without being accused of something, this isn't just true of this place, that seems to the norm in this country..Anyway!! I live very close to the Royal Victoria country park and always have done, I was attacked by a tiger in the park when I was a lad!! Yes! A real... 更多
This is such a lovely park, with an historic past. There is a playground and miniature railway for the young ones, woodland and shoreline walks for all and lots of room for dogs to run around. After a bracing walk there is a cafe which is reasonably priced and a gift shop, there are also facilities for corporate events. Every... 更多
We have visited this park and chapel on numerous occasions, it is set on the banks of the Solent commanding sweeping views of the water front, take time to visit the chapel and learn the history of this location, tea rooms and miniature railway make this a superb place to visit.

Not a great deal to interest children who need to be entertained.Entry is free . Pleasant walks in what used to be the grounds of a military hospital. The Cafe is fine for a light lunch. The chapel (see photograph) was being renovated when we visited so was closed to visitors.
Brilliant place with loads for children to do. My little girl loves it all. Especially loved the train ride and the swings.

Took my godsons (5 and 7) here during the summer holidays and they loved it. There was an area with bouncy castles, mini golf and trampolines which cost £5 per child for an hour's access, and was well worth it, the boys used everything for the full hour and really enjoyed it, it was the highlight of their day.
