If you're in Cat Ba you can't not come here. When went the power was out and we had to use flashlights which was actually pretty cool. You can see all the different rooms they've put in this mountain and imagine how wounded soldiers lived during the American War.
The cave seemed to be under construction, however no one told us. The history is exciting but I could've used the money for better things than seeing something I can see in my own basement that's currently under construction.. Check before you go, if it's under construction.....

When we went the locals were just renovating it so it wasn't really worth going to but I think once they are finished it will be a good museum/look into the past of the cave. The history of that cave is interesting.
