Place is awesome, location for picnic gathering(family or friends), heritage site(Surajkund) adjancent which is also turned into ground as no water. Tourist hotel complex is best in the city. Overall is good to visit and it would be great if you enjoy the Surajkund Craft Mela as well.
Though probably planned initially for some great tourist attraction, its present condition is pitiable except for the time when it hosts the Surajkund Mela..... the remnants of its stalls of which can be seen all through the year that gives it a scraggy look.
This resort was one of the best resort build by Haryana tourism but since the lake has shrinking, no new developments. I really feel pity for this place. It's not a must visit as not many things are left. Only this good here is Surajkund Mela in Feb every year
The only time I believe Surajkund comes to life is in Feb when it hosts famous International Trade Fair 'Surajkund Mela'. The connectivity to this place has improved a lot since new road has been laid out so driving to this place is smooth now. I think this place has lot of potential if it is developed with a plan.... 更多
Pros:-1.It is near to Faridabad,Gurgaon,South Delhi. 2.In between Aravali hills. 3.Have park, lake and restaurant. 4.Historical Significance. Cons:-Not maintained well. No attraction for kids besides the park. Advice:-Go in rainy season or when an international fair 'Surajkund' in February being organised.
I'm a Japanese living and travelling a lot in India. Visited here as this is one of 100 Smart city development sites. Not much to watch. Only a few attractions I found. At the same time, this town is connected to Delhi by Metro already, and very much convenient to commute and do business. So, good potential it has.
