Lovely little museum showing how honey is collected in Greece. Shows a lot about the history of bee keeping on the island. It only costs €2 to get in and is well worth a visit. There is a beehive in the museum so you can see the bees at work. There is also honey for you to try in the... 更多
Really interesting museum and shop. Very educational for kids too, there are two hives inside that the bees have access to come and go and a web cam to watch them fly in. Poor bees have a very hard life to provide us with a lovely treat, amazing! Lovely young lady on the desk, sorry we didn't get her name... 更多
Bee museum is just what name would let you to expect. Bees and honeymaking. Now we know so much more about both. Quick place to visit, easy to access with a rental car. The tasting and shop was good!
Visited the museum which was small, cheap, but interesting. The shop has loads to chose from, tried honey rum then some more just to make sure, before buying two bottles. Got some hand cream, nuts and tshirts for souvenirs. Pop in if driving this route.
Very informative. Very interesting to see how the Rhodes people do beekeeping. Was interested to see that they use one level for a beehive made from plastic. We have just started out as Beekeepers and was amazed to see what was there. Went to the gift shop and bought some bee/honey related products.
We drove to this musuem one afternoon and went in. It is very informative inside if not a little hot. You can see real bees making honey too. The gift shop is fab we brought lots of gifts here as so much choice. Would recommend if you want something different to do.
Went with a couple of friends in their Rental Car for a bit of a tour of Rhodes. On the way back near the Airport there is a sign for the Bee Museum, which was pretty easy to find. We parked up and went in, not sure what to expect. Entrance fee was I think 2euro's each, and were warmly... 更多
Very informative and my little girl was fascinated by the glass encased bee hive. She stood and watched the bees at work for over half an hour and she would still be there now if she could! Well worth a visit!
Small but interesting museum. It tells you everything about the life of bees and the art of making honey with lots of pictures and original objects. There are also two glass hives where you can get up close and watch them produce their honey. There is free tasting of different kinds of prize winning honey (all from Rhodes and nearby... 更多
