I visited the falls with my wife and two kids. The scenery is breathtaking with views of the mountains and forest. The river flowing through this area is crisp and clean with waterfalls, pools and streams to walk through and swim in. A great venue for a family picnic.
When I see waterfalls mentioned I immediately think 'not for me' because it usually entails a long walk and I'm not too good on my legs. When I was last it actually had twin falls. Nevertheless it is still a waterfall to me. The walk is not to bad but the pathway wooden slats should be made more safe looking.
Most amazing waterfall of all in the area. Better to go on a windy or very warm day as it tends to mist up a lot. Cool drinks and ice cream available at falls entry by shops
We went there even though the weather wasn't to nice but seeing the waterfalls just made it worth it.As a Jehovah's Witness it just made me appreciate our Heavenly Creator Jehovah even more.This 1 I have to return Glory and Praise to Jehovah..........................Thanks Jehovah for allowing us to see your works of your hands.
Definitely worth the visit while doing the Panorama Route, the Macmac Falls and the nearby Macmac pools are conveniently located along the main thoroughfare and not too far from the Jock of the Bushveld. You can also continue further along to visit the other pools clustered more remotely as you work your way towards the caves and other attractions along... 更多
We had a small break-away last weekend (FULL rain all weekend, area so beautiful) BUT every fall/attraction we tried to enter had a different price, either per car or per person, ranging from R5 per car to R50 per person, we were 7 adults and there are a lot of attractions (natural sites!!!)
