For train lovers a really interesting museum Full of trains from the old old to the new . Steam trains that I love to diesel types. All for 3e each ,the staff are really nice . You could spend hours looking and reading the plaques on these engines in English even a written part for children to understand.
Good value, even if you didn't think you'd be interested. We actually managed to spend over 2 hours here. Recommend you head upstairs and watch the film first.
We stayed in Sitges and decided on a little day trip out. We decided on Villanova just because it's one train stop along. Having a quick look on the web I found the train museum. My husband loves trains and we do love going to museums in general so we popped along here and we were glad we did. It's... 更多
Close to railway station, very nice surroundings, lots of locomotives. Admission 6 EUR (adult). Suitable for families (children playground is available).

The engines are very accessible, making it easy to get up close and see how they work. There are also a few preserved carriages. Special mention must go... 更多
The history of the railways of Spain are here for you to enjoy. So many old steam and diesel engines, some of which you can climb aboard. When you have had enough of looking at them, you can go upstairs for an informative video about the development of Spanish railways. They offer versions in English and French if you enquire.... 更多
Is one of the biggest (collection of railway engines of Spain. My recommendation is to join a guided tour t to maximice the visit . Childrend friendly (they can get in the engines, there is a play área inside) Its a pitty that there is no option to have a ride in a restored train!
Very interesting to see all the different kind of trains. A must-see when you have little children. A visit of an hour or 2 should be sufficient.
A five minute train ride down the coast is the fishing town and holiday resort of Vilafranca I la Geltru. A town split in two by the railway and the location of this good railway museum with a great selection of steam and diesel locomotive and a very unusual engine house and turntable
