This was a magical place, probably one of my favourite temples. It was so calming and peaceful. The remains are incredible to see, we were surprised at how large this area was and how much still remains, definitely worth the visit if you interested in Sri Lankan history and Buddhist culture.

This area is the spiritual home of the Bhuddists in Sri Lanke. They have found a great number of ancient buildings in this area. The only downside are the people trying to sell you trinkets all the time. They don't like the word "NO"
